ABOUT US
Who we are
At Hill House School in Doncaster, we are proud to host what is now becoming one of the most exciting events in the girls’ rugby calendar – the North of England Girls’ 7s.
Formerly known as the Hill House Girls’ Rugby 7s Festival, the competition has grown year on year, welcoming schools from across the country to take part in a day that celebrates not only performance, but participation, teamwork, and a shared love of the game. As the festival continues to expand, our new identity reflects a broader vision: to create a leading platform for girls’ rugby.
At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to developing the girls’ game.
We believe rugby offers a unique opportunity to build confidence, resilience, and strong team values. Our aim is to provide an environment where players feel inspired, challenged, and supported, whether they are experiencing competitive rugby for the first time or performing at a high level.
The North of England Girls’ 7s is about more than just results. It is about creating opportunities, raising the profile of girls’ rugby, and creating a community where players, coaches, and schools can come together to share in the spirit of the sport.
As the game continues to grow, so does our ambition. We are committed to playing our part in shaping the future of girls’ rugby; encouraging greater participation, celebrating talent, and ensuring every player leaves with a positive and memorable experience.
