What information we collect, use, and why and our legal basis for collection.
Your contact details and those of your child (forename, surname and email) for the purpose of administering the tournament (legitimate interests).
Images of games which may include your image. These are taken for the purpose of providing you with a memento, marketing and to illustrate to visitors the nature of the festival. Please note that we will ask for your consent to use your image in this way.
Certain details such as your IP address and approximate location are taken from your computer’s browser in the normal use of using this website. These details are required for the functioning of the site, to identify and prevent fraudulent or malicious activity and diagnose technical issues (legitimate interests).
We do not use any data to identify your precise location, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
To withdraw your consent, request a change to your data or deletion of your data please email dataprotection@thehillhouseschool.com stating the nature of your request.
How long we keep your information
For adults and children not currently enrolled at Hill House School data is retained only for as long as needed to administer the tournament; one year. We may retain your data longer if you wish to receive notices or information regarding future events. In the event you consent to this we will only keep your data until your child is no longer of appropriate age to attend the tournament.
If your child is enrolled at Hill House School then please refer to the school’s main data protection and retention policies published on their main school site.
Please note that, unless you remove your consent, images of you or your child may not be deleted within one year and may be used on the NEGS7 website (for example) for longer.
Who we share this data with
We do not share your data with any third parties.
We will only use this information in accordance with this privacy statement. NEG7S/Hill House School may update this policy in accordance with our needs or upon the changes of legislation. Please check this page for updates to our policy.
